She has her own web design company on the Internet at DePalma Enterprises and was the founding web master for the Florida Federation of Garden Clubs, a reader for the Library of Congress through Insight for the Blind, an “Entre Nous” supporter of the Fort Lauderdale Film Festival, a member of the Attorney General’s Senior vs.Crime project and works with her dog, Duke, who is a therapy dog for Hospice-Vitas. Both the authors are committed to helping others create special places in their own yard for themselves and the wild creatures of the earth.
